You can’t be a fully booked photographer without control over your numbers…
We know you, you are a photographer, you are creative – you live and breathe your craft from planning your shot, taking it, editing and creating your final masterpiece – many, many times over on a very regular basis!
We also know that many of you who follow the Guild are so passionate about photography that you use it to create your livelihood as a semi or full time professional and so it is important to have a handle on all of the literature, marketing and numbers along with many other factors too.
We opened this blog with a strong statement: You can’t be a fully booked photographer without control over your numbers. Although the business side of your photography business is not the fun and creative exciting side, it is incredibly important to have good knowledge and framework to work with as this will ultimately determine your success.
A great friend of ours whom we work closely with in regards to running our business course (FREE to all Guild members leading to a qualification in the business of photography) plus extra training and mentoring opportunities, Ronan Ryle often speaks of the importance of spending time regularly working ON your business and not just IN it.
