Morag Forbes

Morag Forbes is a Creative Photographer and Digital Artist based in Central Scotland, known for her distinctive urban composites that blend photography with imaginative post-production work.

In less than a decade, she has developed a recognisable style in complex, layered imagery.

She is a Master Craftsman with the Guild of Photographers and has received multiple category awards, including Urban and Digital & Creative, and Members’ and Judges’ Choice, across four years. She is also an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society and holds the AFIAP, CPAGB and BPE3* distinctions.

Morag enjoys exploring urban environments with her camera, aiming to capture how a scene feels rather than how it looks. An early fascination with long exposure sparked her interest in transforming scenes beyond what the eye sees, which has evolved into her current composite work.

As a Scottish photographer, Morag also enjoys spending time at home in Perthshire, photographing the surrounding landscapes and wildlife, as well as visiting the Highlands and Islands. Her work, whether urban or natural, focuses on interpreting the scene thoughtfully and creatively.
