Guild Master Craftsman Gary Skerratt from Staffordshire has just got back from Italy where he shot a wedding for the Tony Sarlo family (who you no doubt know are highly regarded wedding album suppliers in Italy & the UK). The Sarlo family obviously see the work of many photographers thoughout Europe on a regular basis so the choice of Gary as their photographer clearly reflects the very high standard of his work and that of a Guild Master Craftsman.

On his return from Italy Gary found he had won the Guild's fiercely contested 'Image of the Month' competition for August with a stunningly composed & technically superb overhead shot of a bride & groom. He was elated and its fair to say stunned with winning in view of all the other fantastic images that were entered. Furthermore, his entry has edged him into the lead in the hunt for our Photographer of the Year title hunt. In all it's fair to say that he's had a great month!

As his prize Gary will be attending one of the Autumn courses at the Blackthorne school.
