Beverley Foster takes the Guilds ultimate accolade - becoming a Master Craftsman!19 December 2010
Our Panel day last month was an opportunity for Guild members to submit their portfolio in the hope of achieving our ultimate Qualification level - that of Master Craftsman.
Congratulations go to Beverley Foster in becoming our first member in over 12 months to pass our demanding standards. She has now become one of the Guild's 10 Master Craftsman nationally!
Beverley has been a professional photographer since 1990, specialising in weddings. She is based in Leek on the borders of Staffordshire, Derbyshire & Cheshire but travels much further afield photographing weddings thoughout the region. She believes wedding photography to be one of the most challenging forms of photography, for, as she states, there are no second chances and a finite amount of time to complete the job to the very high expectations of the bride and groom, who have often planned the day for many months, even years.
Beverley said that 'Gaining the Master Craftsman qualification is a fantastic achievement, of which I am very proud. I do put a lot into my work and am always striving to improve and learn new skills'.
