I started in photography simply to record my work as a theatre lighting designer, more years ago than I care to remember, and soon became interested in landscape and architectural photography. Time commitments and several career changes led me in other directions and it's only within the last couple of years that I've picked up a camera again.
I discovered model photography thanks to a model friend, and have found it more enjoyable than my previous subjects. I see my work as creative collaboration and prefer to work with models who can take my ideas and add their own interpretation and expertise, and I'm always open to ideas and suggestions. I like my shoots to be fun as well as professional and I enjoy learning and improving my skills.
I am, and intend to remain, an amateur in the sense of one who engages in a pursuit as a pastime rather than as a profession.
