Wedding Photography. Why do I do it? Well, for a start I love it, I love weddings.
I love the style. I love the passion. I love the emotion.
Being able to turn style, passion, and emotion into art is the best job in the world. Couples love the story of their day captured with images that are out of the ordinary. Whether your day is classic or quirky, vintage or modern, you deserve your photographs to reflect that with a distinctive look and style.
Congratulations on your up-coming wedding and thank-you for checking out my images.
Of course, I'd love to photograph your wedding and capture the whole romantic story for you.
I'm based in Yorkshire but I am available to photograph your wedding anywhere in the UK, and I'm also happy to travel abroad.
There are two primary approaches to wedding photography: Traditional/Contemporary and Reportage/Documentary.
Traditional wedding photography provides for more classically posed images and a great deal of photographer controlled interaction on the day of the wedding.
A documentary style of wedding photography is based more in editorial reporting styles and focuses more on candid images with little photographer interaction.
These are two extremes and I fall somewhere in the middle of these two styles.
I view myself as a story-teller, so my main aim is to tell the story of your wedding day (and make you look amazing) I'm happy when things look natural, crisp and classic. Trends change but style remains forever.
In 20 years time the 'colour popped photo with added Dutch Tilt' will look dated and a bit odd!
