I could never categorise myself as 'type' of photographer, If i did i'd be lying to myself and to you. I love it all, and especially how every type challenges me to be better at what I do. Photography feeds my hunger for creativity and expressionism.
Hi, please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Alexandria and I hope that you will choose me to be your photographer on your wedding day. My best friends describe me as a bubble of excitement and this reflects my passion for my profession and my eagerness to capture photographically the detail and essence of what will be your special day. You can rest assured that for me it will be a privilege to make those wonderful memories unforgettable.
I'm a big believer that 70% of wedding photography is about the photographer and how they relate to their subject and the rest about skill. For me, therefore, preparation is everything. Getting to know you and identifying what is important to you before your big day is key to creating that perfect visual story which captures those often small but important details and also provides a record of those sharing it with you.
Let me tell you a little about myself. I live and run my photography business in one of the best cities in the world – London. This has given me a great opportunity to explore art in one of the most culturally alive and vital environments in the world. Every corner of this great city, which brings together both old and new, is a great backdrop for my photography as there are always new perspectives and unknown corners to discover. Who wouldn't love living here?
When I am not photographing weddings I may be photographing people or products in my home studio, organizing fashion shoots in one of the many beautiful London city scapes or venturing further out and testing my skills in the great outdoors – country style. I chose photography as a career because I am excited as much by the prospect of exploring and capturing in the moment the emotions of my subjects as learning something new in an always evolving and challenging technical environment. Stretching my knowledge and creative skill is vital to who I am. I love to be around people who share the same passions which is why if I'm not at a shoot I am organizing one (if you would like to see examples here's a link to my fashion and portraiture - A-H.Photography).
So if, after reading this, you think I might be just the right person to photograph your wedding story let's meet up and discuss over coffee, or something stronger if you prefer, your wedding plans. You can rest assured that I will work closely with you all the way to ensure that your wedding is as special as it can be.
