If you are looking to achieve qualification this year or to improve your IOM scores this could be the perfect day for you.
You will gain an insight into how the judges score newborn images and what makes the difference between each award.
You will also look at how to prepare panels, with a focus on image selection. This will include Qualified, Craftsman and Master Craftsman panels. You are encouraged to bring examples of your own work for a portfolio review.
There will also be a live demonstration looking at lighting, angles and styling. The demonstration will highlight the key areas to focus on when shooting for competition or panels, looking at how small adjustments can make a big difference to your photographs.
The day is designed to both inspire and challenge you to take your newborn photography to the next level.
The day will be led by Guild Judge Jo Bradley, a multi award winning Master Craftsman in Newborn Photography.
Jo is a Master Craftsman with the Guild and was awarded the title of Newborn Photographer of the Year in 2018. She runs a thriving newborn photography business in Chelmsford, Essex. As an ex teacher Jo is passionate about ongoing learning and has a real desire to help and inspire other photographers through training and mentoring.
Tickets cost: £199 (or £175 for members of the The Guild of Photographers. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information).
Tickets are limited to enhance learner experience!
Lunch will be provided within the ticket cost; please ensure to specify any dietary requirements as soon as you have booked your place by sending an email over to email@example.com.
